Acclimation and testing periods

Vendor	A/J and C57BL/6J mice were obtained from The Jackson Laboratory JAX® (Bar Harbor, ME)
Ages	17 wks of age
Feed	Mice are maintained on a normal chow diet (Laboratory Autoclavable Rodent Diet 5010, tested on high fat high glucose (HFHG) diet, and fed ad libitum
Water	Sterilized water ad libitum
Housing	Sterilized microisolator cages with sterilized water, bedding, and feed
Bedding	Steam autoclaved corncob
Photoperiod	12/12 Light/Dark; beginning at 6 AM
Relative humidity	~50%
Temperature	18 - 26°C
